LEAK DETECTION

Value of Leak Detection

Value of Leak Detection: Why do we undertake leak detection?

Quite simply, a water leak under pressure will invariably find the path of least resistance and therefore where water is detected as part of an obvious leak, might not necessarily be the point where the repair is required. To avoid expending huge costs breaking out and exposing pipes, one can opt for a more effective, cost-saving, time-saving, low-impact methodology. Leak detection enables us to detect where water is leaking so that our focus of exposure is drastically reduced. Only where the leak is detected is where work needs to take place.
Leak Detection Methods

Methods

There are several ways in which leak detection is undertaken. The obvious is of course a visual inspection, though this does not accurately render the results one desires.
  • - Acoustic
  • - Heat Sensor
Leak Repair

Leak Repair

Leaks can either occur beneath the surface or in walls. With accurate leak detection methods noted above, the point of concern can be easily located, and work can commence if all safety precautions are considered and adopted.
Camera Inspections

Camera Inspections

Maintenance of pipe infrastructure is fundamental to the longevity of the system as well as enabling one to detect a potential lurking problem before it really becomes one. We will undertake relevant camera inspections upon request on all sewer systems and provide you with the footage for record purposes. Where a blockage has already occurred and a camera inspection is imminent to determine the cause, we will provide you with a professional service whilst at the same time offering advice as to a suitable workable solution.
