Quite simply, a water leak under pressure will invariably find the path of least resistance and therefore where water is detected as part of an obvious leak, might not necessarily be the point where the repair is required. Leak detection enables us to detect where water is leaking so that our focus of exposure is drastically reduced. Only where the leak is detected is where work needs to take place.

There are several ways in which leak detection is undertaken. The obvious is of course a visual inspection, though this does not accurately render the results one desires.
